i dont condone it but its just gotten so good nowadays that most of yall are already wearing them, except you paid full price... early release, etc. id rather but a replica WTL11 than miss out and spend 2K on a pair of shoes.... the sneaker game was always about "rock what you like" but what if you like yeezys but are smart enough not to pay 2K for them? or WTMVP LEBRON 10s? i loved those shoes and ill never have them so what do i settle for?

....go without. I want a hugh mansion and some lambos but for the prices for em, i'm fine without em. my life ain't based around shoe prices

To be honest, most people won't call you out. We have some 'Sneakerheads' at work and they will talk about someone wearing some Fake J's but won't call them out. I would say do what you do, it's shoes, they have soles, you're walking on them, That's It. 

What do y'all call the S'Heads who do reviews on youtube who purchase the authentic and the rep....? What's the point in doing that? Either way, to each their own or whatever. 

On a side note, I didn't trust everyone at the Houston Sneaker Summit I recently went to BUT HEY!!!! #TeaSip lol

this is another example of the great debate between the wiser (IMO) former shoe collector and the newer, younger "sneakerhead".

IMO

we all think our response is correct as it directly relates to where we are in the maturation phase.

my question is...how well off do you have to be to justify owning a shoe you paid 500-5k for? for me, i'd have to own a suitable house and my dream car before i would even think of justifying a purchase like that ever again.

and at the same time i would never purchase a fake under any circumstance

Hah, man, that's also really close to a fake cw, which I think it might be. But it could be that eggplant one, or a test sample of the eggplant/cloak cw.

I don't remember seeing one with blue flywire though. Gotta say, I hated the coloured pods at first, but they look better with darker translucent soles.

I think the real issue here is that Nike/JB need to stop manufacturing at the variant factory, i.e. the lowest bidder and move to a manufacturer that has at least some internal policing. There was a point in time when you could easily spot a counterfeit, now the line has been blurred because the 'authentic' stuff is on par with the 'variant'. Variant makers are salivating at these simple, cookie-cutter one piece designs with fabric uppers.

Speaks volumes if they can spit out iDs easily. In the past the shapes and other details would be off - you could spot a counterfeit a while way. From those pictures the 'WTL' XI and XII look bang on.

The 12's are just god awful, worst yet IMO. It usually takes a short amount of time for shoes to grow on me that I didn't like at first (ex: the KD 6), but I just can't get into these. Hopefully the lows will deliver, with or without the recycled sole.

This pair ain't half bad - at least the awkward ankle/mid-foot cladding is the same colour as the upper so it blends. The Swoosh is far too big, LBJ product has always been Nike first - I don't see why they need to go slap such a huge Swoosh on it. May end up getting this pair on some kind of sale just to add to the I-XII collection.
