If I wanted to get into making beats...where do I start?

I have a Mac...should I dive straight into Logic Pro?

I used to mess w/ FL on the PC a loooooong time ago...I was still in HS so we talkin like 02-03ish. Messing with any audio program would be like rocket science to me now. I tried messing with Garage Band but that didn't work out.

Too repetitive my dude ... Add some changes to the chops ... Maybe using a different section of the sample ... Maybe some open hi-hats and some extra percussion to give it some flare

I can agree some more transitions would add to the beat greatly. Find another section of the sample
