From the batch you up'd, I like these 3 the most. First two, nothing major about them but I guess I like the colors, the composition (symmetry) I probably would have sat on the rail and had someone take my picture.Originally Posted by adob0
aight yall. i live right in the middle of the BP oil spill mess in the gulf of mexico. There have been random spots of tar balls/oil washing up on our beach...but people/tourists are still coming out, myself included...had the day off yest and went out to take some shots. i wasnt interested in taking pics of the oil/booms/clean up stuff, it saddens me to see/think about it since i've lived here my entire life...but anyways, let me know what you think, thanks.
I like the colors in the first photo and the image of the film camera (Canon AE1 right?).Originally Posted by Maurice McL

Hmm..never been to Ohio, but if taking any landscape/city shots....go wide....10mm? Perhaps go creative and get a fisheye? According to NT...Ohio isn't the best placeOriginally Posted by YUNG FLiP iMAGE
Going to Ohio for next weekend. I'm thinking about renting a lens.
I already have a 35mm f/1.8 that I am selling, but I'm going to unbox it again for the trip.
Any suggestions on what I should rent?

Keep us updated on how the oil spill continues to affect your area with photos and thanks for sharing!

I am not sure if you can find one for rent but get the Tokina 11-16 f2.8. Peep the link for some example photos:
