Dude, what you've shown has really impressed me. I'd honestly be interested in seeing more of what you've taken.Originally Posted by XX3forever

i second this. i think 10 is too many though, 5 sounds about right. the more pictures people put in one post, the less each one is looked at. it's like visual diarrhea a lot of the time, esp. when self-editing goes to hellOriginally Posted by TwoSickJays
Well since the old thread is gone (R.I.P) I think we should start this thread off with some type of year in review. Everyone should pick 5-10 of there favorite images from the year of 2009 and share with everyone. I will post some of my shots once i go through them all.

All the deals I have seen now include the kit lens at prices that are even better than the price of the body alone. Either way it's good that you've started researching now so that you can make a better informed decision.Originally Posted by Cobra Kai
I should be picking it up in January, gonna go check it out either tomorrow or Wednesday and get a feel for it.
Good luck! It is an awesome camera!
the S90 looks NICE but its a bit pricey.. we shall see.. its the holiday season.. maybe i can get one as a giftOriginally Posted by Rap Sizzle
Sounds like the Canon S90 is what you're looking for. Think G11 in a more compact body. I'm selling my 24-70L, 70-200 f/4L and Sigma 10-20 to buy the G11 + gifts for friends and family.Originally Posted by Kickmatic23
I want a P&S b/c i can't always carry around my d40... the G11 is sick but too big/ expensive to be just a carry around p&s for my pocket.. I'm jeal tho rap sizzle
