Did you use a filter to get the sky effect?

That's probably just the clouds and when you are doing a long exposure, you'l actually get the clouds/fog moving. One cool thing about shooting SF from afar is you'll always see some fog or clouds over the city.

Speaking of fog.....I mentioned this guy before but his photos are seriously amazing: davidyuweb

And the questions I always wondered (and others) what he shot with:

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!

What's more insane is how much effort that guy puts in on going out and shooting those shots. Most of his shots are done either at sunrise or sunset. He shot the Palace of Fine arts and in his caption, he said this was shot at about 4am when the sun was just coming up. That is an insane time to just capture a shot.

Finally!

The 35L is mine!

I bought it used and saved 600$... I'm okay with it not being brand new, as long as the optics dat piff.

Can't wait to go shooting with it!

^Great pickup!

Wow he has some real talent. Every time I see fog in the city I avoid going there to get pics of the bridge but seeing the way his shots have turned out is amazing.

trhee - My bad, fam, haven't been on the thread in a month-ish.  Yea, I was in Seoul for a few months taking in the sights.  Was down in Busan for a minute too.  Headed back to DC in a few...

Some from Busan and the DMZ.  More on the tumblr (sig).  Peace.

Digging the tones PACTEZ!

Are these your edits? Filters?

Haven't had the chance to go shooting with my new 35L, I've only snapped a couple frames the day after I bought it.

Going to go shooting tomorrow! Excited!
