I got a few plays in before calling it a night. His moves aren't as relentless as Tiger Vanguard. Had more trouble going into the village fighting the big shield guy, zombies, and bat creatures. I just rushed pass them to get to Stone Vanguard
I just found out
that righr before you get to him, on your left there is a big rock. Interact with it. If you collect the 6 golden eyes, you will awaken that boss and he will help you kill Stone Vanguard
