Before you judge, have facts I'm just saying. I own the house that those polo beds sheets are on (queen to be exact). I'm not a "LO HEAD" just a strong admirer and fan of Ralph Lipschitz (Ralph lauren). Two each its own on the sheets. They are most common in twin sizes. And, that's why I'm usually tempted to dismiss "Lo heads" flossing those sheets. ...Unless I see otherwise by the size of the bed in the pic, my first thought is "Lo-head" who still lives with his mother. I need to see that it's a king size, or evidence that the pic is of a bed in the "guest room."
That said, "A lot of Brooklyn heads still live with they moms." Big Vic Lo does have a point.
BTW, my wife and I bought 2 bed sets from Ralph Lauren Home today.
...Queue VGA bear sheets vs. Ralph Lauren bedding debate.

I'm a humble dude, who works hard and plays even harder. Happy Memorial Day
I know I'm new to NT but who are you and who needs your approval?
LOLYou really had to dig deep. You went back to my first post.
You are very sensitive.
Here's a Polo Bear hug for you...
All I was sayin is man, you think you the Polo Police or something! Nobody cares about your negative opinions. At least I don't.

dudes want props on there only accomplishment in their lives ,a couple of windbreakers and tees with a teddy bear on it , thats why i honestly didnt go through posting more of what i got getting some hating pm's about my name and know the history. Yeah i know rrl was founded in 1993 as a means to make something thats quality and not massed produced, yes his first seasons were ranch wear inspired and themed period pierces, and yes i agree its corny he put it online when it was supposed to be like a cult following with the collection. get off your high lo horses and let people liveI pray to real lo lives before I sleep so I can find the hottest deals. Now that's real talk. Whenever I find a steal on a RRL or Indian piece on eBay I make sure I offer a sacrifice to the lo lives for blessing me with these steals.
yep but it happen on style forum as well too.except it was one old head and a bunch of resellers. i aint gonna call no names cause they know who they are i guess it hurts that the only thing they have are memories of that hot summer 20 years ago.people actually took time outta their lives to pm you over the semantics of polo?
that's crazy
it okay to be knowledgable about a brand but at the end of the day who cares if you know that much. Most people dont know that ralph started out at brooks and that brooks owns a small % of polo , alot of people could care less about snow beach and teddy bear tee's, they purchase what they like and dont care about invisible encyclopedia that comes with each piece. And yeah i mostly post rrl so far but trust me when i say i have a lot of blue label from 1998-2011 it isn't what you can find at the department stores so it wouldnt catch a lot of peoples attention but few would know about it.You folks are the ones who seem salty.
I don't care who does and who does not post here.
We've been through this already. I never came at rrlegend or any dudes like that - there are lots of different relationships one could have with RL. That "Lo Life" flavor isn't rrllegend's style, so I wouldn't come at him or anybody else like him for any of the kinds of things I've mentioned. You clearly don't understand that aspect of the Polo culture - as evidenced by your worshiping boosters comment, - but your thing is apples and their their thing is oranges. Most of the stuff you post isn't what would be considered "Lo" anyway - that doesn't make it better or worse, it's just different. I don't have a problem with y'all cats who rock like that. And, you rightly shouldn't care what people from that side of things think about your steez.
But, if you profess that style - and even call yourself a "Lo Life" like Smoke Dog, you most definitely are perpetrating hard if you don't respect the history.
You people say you don't care or don't seek acceptance, but that's all clearly false. You post all defensive when you get attacked ever so slightly. The very act or posting pics is a seeking of acceptance.... yes, when I do it too - when anybody does it. It doesn't mean you are a loser, or that there's no other means of self-worth in your life. But, it is what it is. I'm secure enough to accept that, but some y'all are in denial about your own behavior. (And, FTR, you may not be seeking acceptance from EVERYBODY in the community, but you are at least seeking some.)
And, FTR, I'm not from BK. I'm not a Lo-Life. I don't consider anything Polo-related to be among a top accomplishment in my life. I'm just somebody who thinks the architects of things should be understood and respected. If you are posting in the AM threads, you should know who Steve Prefontaine is. If you are posting in the AF1 thread, you should know who Bruce Kilgore is. .
agreed been a lurker in all polo threads on niketalk for years but never wanted to post due to some old heads holding on to the past but agreed let people rock what they want too i dont like big ponies but im not clowning or scolding anybody for doing them.Different styles, different tastes, different eras, we're all here for the same reason which is to share the part of RL that is special to you with the rest of the community.
We're never all going to agree, and that's why there's so much variety withing the RL collections. This is the strongest that the thread has been in years, and I'm loving it. Keep sharing, keep learning RLNT.
If you are posting in the Nike running retro threads, you should know who Steve Prefontaine and Bill Bowerman are. If you are posting in the AF1 thread, you should know who Bruce Kilgore is. .
