**The Official Ralph Lauren Polo Thread**

If you start breaking out the CSI light, you'll never buy vintage again..
Was gonna say as someone who primarily buys vintage pieces your buying them for the wrong reason if your expecting them to look brand new. With that said I’ve done deals where a person tells me something is mint and I get it the shirts looked like road kill so always make sure to ask for detailed pics if there not already provided. Depends also on the material of the particular item some age better than others.

I'm specifically talking about stains, I don't want to wear stuff with stains.

Everything else is understandable with vintage.

Yeah that’s why you should make sure to get detailed pics cause unfortunately I’ve learned the hard way not everyone is honest. I’m not even joking a shirt I got one time looked so bad if I actually wore it out someone probably would have tossed me some change cause they’d think I’m homeless 😂. Stains are sometimes fixable but not always.

Are you talking about stuff you already own? Or like as you're browsing racks at the local thrift? A blacklight jumps out as being the obvious answer no?

But as the other responses should tell you; no one is really doing that, and buying vintage is a tradeoff between the value of the piece in your own eyes, the price the seller is asking, and the potential flaws and failure points on the garment. Sometimes you need to take risks if the price is good. Other times it's absolutely worth shelling out more than you'd like when the opportunity to snag NWT vintage comes up. Personally I do most of my vintage shopping online, and I typically know the failure points on vintage garms so I'll ask for detailed pictures of those areas & other flaws.

The funniest thing is doing a meetup with someone claiming their itee is mint and the joint is trashed.

Whole time they doing this:

I'm looking at them and the item like this:

Watching them Juelz they way into their definition of mint is hilarious. The finesse is definitely an art form 😂

That was basically what happened with the itees I got that were trashed the excuse was that one of them was a grail 😂

Debating on which one I want.. noticed the jacket has the wolf on both sides where the sweater doesn’t.. wish the jacket did it how the sweater did it

Polo footwear okay or stay away? I know the boots decent but i dont know about the other stuff

I personally don't like the way most of their sneakers look. I have the CLOT court shoes but that's it. Quality seems pretty good but I can't comment on comfort because they are still DS.

I'd choose the sweater. That jacket has been released 20 times with different graphics since The Pandemic started. There's nothing really special about it.

It's all overpriced. Wait for discounts.

Peace NT fam. Had this P patch from the last days of the Rugby store. Never could find a piece that would do it justice until now

New pick ups. This new ski graphic is 🔥🔥
How's the quality on the bd. Thick or super thin. Is the graphic heat pressed or sublimated. Thanks

I’m pissed off, I ordered from Bloomingdales the Yankee Ralph Lauren patchwork sweater the large restocked and it just came in the mail and this is what I got. This doesn’t look like Yankee to me.

It'll be a merry Christmas of they send you the proper one and let you keep that one without paying for it. Had this happen once with a couple of shirts
