Haven’t been to one in years,had a good 5-6 year run with them. I would see iteams from the early 90’s to the current lines for pennys. Mannn the RRL you would find. Every line was always represented

I only see the plaid button up w/ the hood from the lake placid line pop up but never this.
Nice twill not heavy but stiff and the added touches to make it a ski yet still a country style shirt. I got this from a tj maxx in Ohio for $15 and this when the line was still active.

100% cashmere wool cable knit sweater 2010 Olympic Vancouver games. Another piece idk to much about release wise as far as the line go’s

The bottom pic (mine) is to show the difference from the sample in the first pic.
The only thing different I could see on the shorts is the orange trim on the little pocket on the top right other than that nothing I can see from the pic.
Side note remember when macys got there own special pieces only for macys??!! That climber hat is one of the last ones I can think of.
Bloomies and sax had there’s too.

Got it cheap at Bloomingdale’s and got back $25 in loyalist points for $83 effectively. Stretchy and soft and thick for the winter.. one of my favorite shirts of theirs, I have 3 colors…

One’s much better than the other and it’s not close - the current one is basically just advertising that they have a sale section.

The differences I can remember
Are no leather trim on chest pockets and not as heavy. “Town and country navy” sounds so Ralph
This is when they was making a transition from using real fur (this would have had coyote fur) you can tell as soon as a drop of water hit it, trim is also removable

Fun Fact: I've never been to a Sample Sale. I'm looking at those tags and the prices
People were winning on everything, and I hear the prices are lowered on the final days. You've got some crazy finds. I have a couple of document samples, and I really appreciated the info on the tags when they are still attached and written/printed on. They are usually better quality and have unique touches that the store versions don't have. Incredible stash family.
There a few collectors who have samples that I've got the money set aside to buy whenever their ready to let go of them. I don't want to pay that 3rd owner price.

Looking at feedback is the way to start, but there's no guarantee. I start with knowing exactly what I'm looking for, and knowing those items inside and out so that I can spot the authentic on sight just by glancing at it. You can always ask a trusted person, who isn't going to leap frog you and buy it for themselves, for a legit check before you add it to your cart.
