When I try to add a friend on the updated PS app, it no longer gives me a option to type in a person's PSN ID. It just gives me the option to add a friend by sending an email, a text message, or create a link to put on social media. Is anyone else getting that as well?

Instead of hitting the face with plus sign on it add a friend, now you must tap the "All" button in your list then search using the magnifying glass.

Originally thought about copping the XB1 because of that $250 but I'm leaning more towards PS4

My question is should I trade in my PS3 as a credit towards my next gen or keep it and pay full price? I have 3 unopened games so I just feel like I wasted money if I don't play them

Id say only keep the PS3 if you actually ever plan on playing some of the older games and you are interested in it's PS+ offerings.

What you could do is trade it in and try and return your unopened games to a place like Walmart who are super leinient on returns. (I.E. return without receipt for credit).

I did the trade-in that you're talking about last sept. I was on the fence of which next gen console to get for about 9 months.

The perks of xb1 sold me.

With the xb1, you get:

• Regular updates that adds fan picked features to the console such as custom backgrounds, usb media playback, etc
• multitasking. You can do two things at once.
• suspend/resume. You turn off your xb1, then turn it on the next day. You're back in the game exactly where left out.
• non-gimmicky controller. The impulse triggers add little subtleties to games and the rubber lining on the thumbsticks adds some grip. Which enhance the experience.
• It updates games/downloads purchases, even if the console is off.
• smartglass app, it's basically xbox facebook
• The OS makes everything easy to find and you can bookmark certain games/apps like the 360.
• You can smoothly play games off of an external hdd.
• ea access app, which gives you full access to battlefield 4, sports games, plants vs zombies for $30 a year, it's videogame netflix
• You can stream videos to your xb1 or play them through a usb drive
• It costs $350 until 01/02/15. You can get $100 by trading in a working 360 through microsoftstore.com
• Great exclusives so far. Forza Horizon 2, Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, Halo. m$ is already gearing up for Holiday 2015 with halo 5 and quantam break
• As of right now, you get to keep all the free games you get with xbox live. The games don't go away once you stop your xbox live subscription.
• You can gameshare with a trusted friend. You both can work out a deal where you can get new games for $30 a piece.
• xbox rewards. You get xbox currency for buying stuff. Nothing major.
• Superior online network of supposedly 300,000 servers. Which leads to fewer network issues. m$ provides dedicated servers to some games like titanfall

I'm still undecided but I'd either pick up the Sunset bundle for XB1 or Destiny bundle for PS4. The thing is I'm realizing XB1 is more of a entertainment system while PS4 is solely gaming. I already have a entertainment system I put together I'm doing a little more research and I'll prb pick one up end of the week

Also with the target deal, you can't choose games that aren't released yet right?

The target deal only applies to released games.

Meaning they still have the plastic on them, brand new. I haven't touch my PS3 in months and I don't alternate games. I like to finish one game before I open the other. I can't wait til this semester is over

OH, I was in that same predicament. Honestly, once you enter next gen, you may want to stop playing last gen games for a while.

I had so many games in my backlog. Now I just demo games for a while. If the game isn't fun while I demo it, I just toss it.

Through that method, I've trimmed my backlog by 90 games.

I just came to the realization that I don't need to play every game I buy, except for the ones I bought digitally that I can't resell.

$250 worth of unplayed digi-games.

yea this was my question the other day in here. it was sort of answered. i was thinking of asking for a gift receipt on the one i was going to return.

i havent played one since smackdown, this new one by 2K looks awesome though. my cousin has WWE2K14 and says its good. hes into wrestling and will say if its **** or not. 2K15 will be copped.

Quad and I tried to run some last night, but the matchmaking is terrible (i'm blaming those infamous 2k servers) and once we did get in, we got booted like 3 mins into the round. I'm chalking it up to being an alpha. I'll try again tonight though
