That external storage feature. I stated in the wii u thread that the wii u does a bunch of stuff that I didn't know about.

The wii u has that external storage feature, which I didn't know.

And of course, dnla streaming.

Those 2 features are what I've seen a lot of ps4 users asking for.

DNLA? That's what X1 has, right? I don't see how that's useful or even wanted. It allows you to play music from your computer but not in the background wile you are gaming, right? I think PS4's USB Media Player is better. I can see how external storage would be wanted but PS4 makes it easy to upgrade your internal storage which is what I personally prefer. Again, I can understand that one though.

X1 is cool for entertainment features but why would you spend $350-$500 on a gaming console to watch movies and listen to music? I buy gaming consoles to play video games. The features that you named are cool but they aren't the deciding factor for me, I could do without them. I don't feel like MS puts games first. They have a few titles here and there and then they just pay for exclusitivity for the bigger multiplat titles i.e CoD, GTA IV, BF4 etc.

Sony may take their time with updates but they release quality games. Neither the X1 or the PS4 have a lot of exclsuives to offer but most consoles pick up in years 2-4. Sony already has a great lineup planned for 2015. Now I can't say if those games will bomb or not but given the reputation of those developers, we should see some great games.

I don't think Sony is slacking because they're in the lead. MS is just playing to their own strengths.

PSNow, Remote Play, Shareplay and Morpheus shows that Sony aren't waiting around. What they've shown is that they're prioritising gaming features before anything else.

It was similar with the Vita and PS3.

Exactly what they should be doing since the PS4 is a gaming console.

I'm not worried at all about exclusives coming to the ps4 because I know they're coming and when they do they will be great like always.

A couple average exclusives don't make one console better than the other.

Sony really should sell those grey PS4 controller seperately. I'd even pay $65 for it

I like the way GTAV uses the DS4 audio speaker for phone calls/radio dispatch.

Wanted a hard copy of TLOU but for $20 I'll settle for the digital.

And Sony should have thrown in a HD splash of the ps1 startup for the anniversary ps4.

Sunset is a lot of fun. I like it, but I always liked Insomniac's games.

I'm going early Saturday morning to PSX, I'll try and scoop up an anniversary edition, but i doubt i'll get one, I'm sure place is gonna be packed.  

One feature i WANT but don't necessarily need is that suspend/resume.  Last night played a little TWD S02 (on Vita).  Turned the screen off went to sleep.  Woke up, ate breakfast, and started right where i left off in the pause menu.

I just read on Twitter that Capcom will be hosting USF IV tourneys during the PSX and that Capcom and Sony are partnering up for something.

That ps4 is FLAMES!!! Damn you Sony for making it limited. And damn you even more for not selling the controller seperately >:

The theme is pretty nice. That PS1 boot up sound . The ps4 system music still plays in the background but it sounds kinda different, like more retro if that makes sense.

Also, disabling the keytone like someone suggested stops the Ps4 bootup sound from playing over the Ps1 bootup, but it also mutes the sounds of scrolling through menus. Just FYI.

im tempted but i havent converted to digital just yet. i just checked recently and i only have around 100GB left on the system.

I didn't think a 500gb hard drive would fill up that fast. Other than a few ps+ games and install/update files from my hard copies I don't have anything else on the HD and I'm just over 130gb used after installing this.

i have about 4 games in my rotation now, plus those ive traded or sold. including alot of PS+ titles. ive had it since release. where do i go to delete the game saves? do i just delete the application from the XMB? i also have a few apps downloaded like Youtube, IGN, Netflix, and the WWE Network. didnt think it would fill that quick either but some of these game installs are huge.

You can delete the game saves also. It should be in the settings somewhere, I can't remember off the top of my head though.
