Microsoft plays it safe by getting an exclusive to Dead rising 3 which is an established franchise. Sony however, took the chance with the Deep down exclusive even though it's a new IP... Is anyone really that surprised??

I'm going to...if it's there i'll get it if not...oh well. I've usually only bought the next gen when one of my current gen breaks down. I still have my launch day ps3 and my slim working in great condition.
unless i get a monitor(for the older PS3,which i want to keep because it's hacked) I wont get the ps4
I don't have 3 laptops so for me having 3 systems at once is overkill

I'm not in a hurry to play next-gen, my brother's PS4 is already paid off, i'll just drop by his place and check it out, don't see myself copping until MGSV, and by then my brother's PS+ account will have tons of content for me to steal from him.

The camera will be worth it depending on the type of games you like. Buy it only if you think you'll need it.
I'm not getting one at launch but I will eventually since it might be needed for VR.

My thing is I don't want any limitations. I don't play video games much anymore but I would like an all in entertainment system since i don't have a blue ray and I assume the ps4 will be relevant for the next 8-10 years? Game wise is probably just play fighting games and games like GTA and infamous

1. Sony hasn't really said a whole lot about the camera yet. I think the only "game" confirmed to support it so far is Play Room which started as a tech demo, but is now going to come pre - installed on every PS4. There's a couple videos of it in this thread. I think it'll do other things like allow you to video chat and upload your picture to your profile but not sure what else yet. Only time will tell if it'll be worth it or not though
2. R* has no plans to bring GTA V to next generation consoles yet. They've talked about GTA: Online coming to PS4, but not necessarily GTA V. If it does happen it might not be for a while
3. Check your local gamestops or amazon. I would think Sony would be taking them still but don't quote me. I'm in the same boat as you with the Watch Dogs bundle, that's the one I pre ordered. Not a big fan of FPS' either although ill probably still get Battlefield because my boy plays it, and Destiny looks too good to pass up

Lol so I should prob save my money and ex the Camera until games that use it drop? And is there any spot with preorders that will ship on release day?

Still have a broken one sitting in my closet.
Man did anyone's OG PS3 ever pass the test of time? Mine got the YLOD and I was >: because I had to get a newer one that didn't have backwards compatibility

Word is that the second shipment comes in December. Any truth to this? Yes I missed out on the pre-order.
