I was obsessed until end game. A couple friends I played with just stopped so I didnt really have anyone to party with.

It is really good. But it will destroy your future, so good of you to avoid.

You plan on getting back on when it drops for the PS4? I'm looking for some people to run with once it drops. I bought it for the PS3 but didnt have patience with the server issues and never got around to playing it.

Scheduled maintenance, not sure if this is the cause for your problem though.

Ok cool. I had a few characters but Im gonna start from scratch, I dont really know nothing about MMOs

XIV was really the first time I played an MMO (I played XI but had no idea what was going on). Learning on the fly with this one wasnt too bad. Once you get to end-game stuff, people have no patience what-so-ever. First few times you face a raid boss, be prepared to be yelled at if you go in without knowing what to do.

That's what my brother was telling me, especially if you are a tank role. He's a big DC Universe guy and messed around with XIV enough to get a character to level 50 I think. Says that people were filling his chat box with very "rude" comments when he was a tank

edit: do you think they will ever support voice chat on PS3/4?

As far as I know there is no voice chat period... even on PC.
