Go to the save menu.

When you're about to save, it should tell you which chapter you're on.

Type that chapter name and the last of us into the youtube search box.

Someone has already uploaded their entire playthrough, so you can just watch what he did to get past the part that you're stuck on.

You guys getting paid!? :lol

Seriously, though, I think it comes from playing RPG's as a kid becoming a completionist... wanting to find and experience everything in the game. If I get a platinum trophy in a game, it kind of lets me know I have experienced everything that game has to offer and I can move on

This.

Also screw tacked on multiplayer achievements. Im looking at you Tomb Raider 8o

I'm excited to get off this evening and pick up infamous!!

You guys recommend playing as the hero or a villian?

My copy is ready to pick up now, but im going to get it on my lunch break ....I plan on starting as the hero, but will also play as villian on the 2nd playthrough. I heard that both have diffrent perks and skill trees, so its a must for me to play as both.

Took AC Black Flag to Best Buy yesterday for the $40 (thanks again for the heads up @cragmatic )
I forgot I just got a gift card. Was thinking the trade in towards I:SS directly like GS. But I'll stay posted to see the reactions on here to see if I wanna pick it up today or wait till I run threw MGS

JRPG's are WRPG's are completely different so depending on your play style you will lean to one more. JRPG's focus more on grinding, teenage characters, following a linear story line. WRPG's give you much more freedom, stat allocating, character choices. Of course there are exceptions to the rule.

Ni No Kuni is a visual feast but it can be a little boring at times. You'll mostly play for the art, music, and maybe story.

Mass Effect is probably your best bet getting into RPGs. It gets more accessible with each game. The story is pretty great too.

If you haven't played a Final Fantasy game I wouldn't suggest you start with FF 13. It's very average. I would say start with 6 and keep going but the graphics are really dated so not sure you'll be able to enjoy as much. Best bet is to start with the Final Fantasy X collection.

Tales games are a hit or miss to me. I personally find them too generic to enjoy.

Dragon Age : Origins is a really complex game, from the story, gameplay mechanics, interactions.

Persona 3 and 4 are top tier JRPGs. Easily recommend these.

I find it really hard to recommend RPG games because all the best RPG's are from the SNES, PS1, PS2 era.

My personal favorites : Xenogears, Grandia (most underrated RPG of all time, true gem), Final Fantasy Tactics (could be the best FF game ever made), Vagrant Story (lol what's Dark Souls again?), Chrono Trigger, Paper Mario :TTYD (This is probably my favorite gaming surprise. Top Notch story, legit funny writing, crazy characters, insane scenarios. Classic)

Okay, time to pop in Second Son.

This is what I ended up doing. I hate doing this tho. It feels like I am cheating. :{

First time using youtube to be a part in a game.

Anyway... Finished the last of us! :hat

Great game I can see why everybody lived it so much and it got so many awards. The story was excellent.

Now I move to Second Son! Bout to get into it for an hour or two.

I was surprised there was even a mid-night release for Second Son because I didn't think there was this much hype around it. Does most games get midnight releases? anyway, picked up at 12, there was at least 15 people there doing the same. was home by 12:08 and played for like 15 mins. All i did was the first "mission", chose hero like the previous two games. i like it so far.

Didn't the game have like 1 million preorders or some ridiculous number? It's the the first "major" PS4 exclusive to drop since it launched, so I don't see why not have a midnight release.

@carver well, when you put it that way. I didn't know all that pre-order stuff so it makes sense now.

I might be wrong

But I swear I read somewhere it had a mass ton of preorders. They did a good job hyping it up, the game looks great.

Yea I heard the same thing. I'll probably start off as a villain. First time playing an infamous game. So I'm hyped.

cant wait until work is over so i can pick up infamous... might smoke an L to get a better experience :hat

It goes without saying that I'll be putting one in the air on the ride home.

I don't think it's cheating if you tried several times to pass said part.

JRPGs are my favorite genre so I must comment

Starting with FF X/X-2 HD is a good start; easy to pick up, combat is easy to learn (they damn near teach you how to beat every type of monster in the first few hours), decent storyline and good variety of characters. I think FF 6 is the best FF game (my fav) but not sure you want to deal with graphics that old.

Tales is also a good series; the best one IMO is Vesperia, followed by Graces f, Xillia, Symphonia HD. Combat is real time and identical for all games just a few differences here and there. Storylines for all Tales games can be hit or miss. I like the customization; crafting items, changing costumes etc. Nice anime style art too

My favorite JRPG from PS3/360 gen is by far Star Ocean: The Last Hope! I beat it 3 times. The combat is excellent, fast-paced, actual requires some skill. The combat is the best part of the game, good post game content, lots of exploring, sidequests, great customization, lots of characters. I thought the story was ok but the gameplay itself makes up for anything the story may lack. Best of all you can cop this for PS3 for $17 on Amazon

Lost Odyssey on 360 is a good traditional turn based JRPG, made by the creator of FF himeself, Hironobu Sakaguchi and music from Nobuo Uematsu, IMO they made FF the juggernaut it is today.

Blue Dragon is another good for 360, from my understanding it plays more like Dragon Quest VIII, not sure since I havent played DQ VIII

I could go on but I think I listed enough

Yeah I read it surpassed TLOU for pre-orders which apparently had a lot
