The television show The Wire resurrects the classical Greek vision: some conflicts are beyond resolution

The Wire is unsettling because it presents “doomed and fated protagonists who confront a rigged game and their own mortality
 
It's not that she lacks speaking skills; it's because she is being dishonest. When faced with reason and logic, she is forced to play stupid and waste time in order to support the institution/agency she represents. She makes a mockery of herself, of the DEA, and of the court.

You'll appreciate more the second time around. It's become one of my favorite seasons.
 
I want to rewatch it bad but I gotta find some yambs that wants to partake ...

People always sleep on Season 2. You'll appreciate it more after re-watching the series.
