I'm just now finding out Castlevania DS collection is a real thing. Did they try to keep this a secret or something?

Three of the best Castlevania games ever made.

Yeah, I held on to the Gameboy Advance Castlevania games for too long.

Can I just say us retro cats are eating well right now. For some of us, we already have some of these games in our collections, so it's nice to have modern access. For the games we didn't have (I only had Harmony of Dissonance in portable Castlevanias) these collections are perfect ways for us to access things we could afford/get in our childhood.

I'm beyond grateful to Capcom and Konami for their efforts. I wish Konami wouldn't go through Limited Run for their physicals, but still happy nonetheless. Crazy how you can play a retro game for the first time and it will transport you back to the 90s or 2000s. I think there's a genuine appreciation that we have because we can remember how revolutionary the graphics, systems, gameplay was for their times.

I just need SNK to release the KOF EX games from GBA as well. And can Konami put Ghost Babel on one of these MGS Collections? Thank in advance from a portable gaming 90s kid.

Great time to be alive.

I "Retired" from modern gaming about 4 or so years ago while my house was getting worked on. Packed up the XBOX One and haven't touched it since. Been a PC Gamer for the last year and have been enjoying the HELL out of my gaming life.

Been putting in a lot of hours on Fightcade over the last 3 months.
Got my little favorites from Steam.
Disposable Retro access.

Life is good man.

Just having a retro gaming collection saved me from having to dip into my 401k to pay bills while I was inbetween jobs for a couple of months. Made $7,500 off 25 items in the past 60 days... the vast majority of which were games I have touched in like almost 2 decades. Knowing that I can still own better versions of these games for a fraction of the price makes letting go that much easier. Powerstone 1 and 2 and all 3 of those Castlevania DS games are getting put up on ebay today!

I will say though, letting go of most of my Saturn collection did hurt, only because you cant really play a lot of those games anywhere else. Mainly the RPGs, they really need to start remastering the Saturn gems for modern consoles.

These last two generations of gaming have been a huge let down. I wouldn't say I've completely retired from it, but I'm pretty close to getting there.

I've been having a great time on my modded SNES Classic.

I never met anyone with a Neo Geo until I moved to Texas. Even that guy runs a game store now, so he was knee deep in gaming back then. Plus he worked in the plants, so it was nothing for him to work overtime and pay for a Neo Geo back then.

Literally was an arcade at home. Didn't see that until like most with the Dreamcast. I knew someone with a Saturn, but he didn't have the updated ram card to play arcade perfect.

I bought one in 2003 after a military deployment lol.

I copped a used one off of eBay. I think it came with a game.

Games were mad cheap at the time. I copped a few new games Samsho V Special, SvC, KoF 2002, 2001 and a few other titles. At the end I had all of the KoFs, most of the Samurai Showdowns, a few Fatal Fury’s, etc. I had a modded SNES controller that worked on it.

So mad I sold it to this Neo Geo store (I can’t remember the exact name). I took such a loss. If I had held onto it, I’d be rich now lol.

I have a Saturn. I stupidly threw out the original cases to the games and put them in regular CD jewel cases.
