Yeah, the flashbacks of Nora and eph just seemed out of place. Nora deserves someone better. Would treat her like groceries every day. Dutch is screwed. Dunno if she can go crawling back to fet.
So both sides have to spend a ridiculous amount of gold for the book and buy it from a local hoodlum? Didn't know that the watches the old man kept in his pockets were valued at over a million.

i should have only watched last man and earth and ray donovan this morning. dunno why i'm still watching. the last good thing on this damn show were those new opening credits that they only used one time

No lie I'm kinda still watching cuz sooner than later I'm expecting it to get cancelled. I see them not finishing out the story from the book or rushing things with a time skip.

I did like it better than the weird sounds and then blood stained title of the show opening. Only thing I can think of is it was a time factor. As in it took up time they could be giving to a commercial to make more money or they had already canceled the series by then and we don't know yet and they just said **** it on using the new opening (which would be ****** up, I expect at least one more season of this unless this finale is gonna be a blood bath and not match the book at all).

This show has gotten messier since the last time I watched. You have useless plot devices like Dutch and the lesbian relationship and writers not sticking to the source material with the latest example being vampires at Rikers Island. The vampires cannot cross bodies of water without assistance. Dutch should have been killed by Eichorst as she's no longer of use and it would have moved the story more in that Fet would have more inspiration to rid the world of the Master. Unless they fire the writing staff and bring in new ones, Season 3 is going to be more of the same.

I really thought after the sneak peek/preview for the rest of this season after the premiere that those clips with Dutch being chained up by Eichorst meant she was gonna be the big main character death of the season (especially since she doesn't exist in the books).
That was one expectation I wanted to see but the overall quality of the show has dropped anyway.

It made no sense...Gus and the wrestler went into the prison with literally nothing. Yet, after they freed all the prisoners, dudes dumped a grip of weapons on the table

aye just ff the season seeing how ya'll disliking the stupidness going on, my only thing they kept hyping up the vamp tac team in season 1 and they get washed like that that early in season 2.
And then this highlander dude comes and we supposed to be amazed. :\

Very good finale and easily the best episode of the season until the Zach scene. Mindnumbingly frustrating. I'm officially done with this show.

Damn they really went off book didn't they? How they gonna do that to my girl Nora? Now there's literally like zero chicks I'm feeling on this show. This might be the final straw for me.
Also I don't get the Master. If he had used all his resources to get the book he would've had more bodies to throw at Fett and Setrakian to get it even when Quinlan and his crew showed up but no he lets a good deal of them go to getting ******* Zack? What part of the game is that?

That's not really a big deal though. That's just a happy ending for two ppl after the main plot has concluded.
I was thinking big deal like if she had a role in saving someone, killing characters on the other side, critical stuff to winning. Apparently writers feel w/e she did do will be done by someone else or the story is so severely changed for the show it doesn't matter anymore making her expendable.
As for that book ending for her, pretty clear that aint happening

He's the reason they're both not crippled and they're thinking they can try to play him like that? He should've turned her or let eichorst do what he wanted to do to Dutch. What's with palmer taking her heart like setrakian did with his wife? Surprised eph didn't do the same with Nora. eph going to turn into a bald version of setrakian now.
