Aight so it all started it off when we went to Atlantic City for vacation. I was pretty young so I was immature and stupid
.
One day the adults decided they wanted to go to the casino at the Taj Hotel, if I remember correctly. And those who have been there know it's kinda fancy and what not.
When we were entering ya boy's jaw dropped. The place just looked so fancy and high class.
Outside the hotel was a huge fountain and by the main entrance the ceiling was covered with light bulbs. Like hundreds of them.
You can kind of see all the lights and the fountain at the bottom of these pics.
So anyways once I found out they were just gonna go to the casino I was salty because I knew I was about to be bored. But one of my cousins took all the kids to an arcade around there so it was all gravy. So a lot of time was spent there as I whopped kids butts in Tekken

To not make this even longer I'll fast forward some.
For whatever reason the adults left the casino for a bit and the kids met them in the lobby. I guess they were taking a break or something I don't really remember.
I got ancy and asked my mom for a penny to throw in the fountain (Don't remember how many she actually gave). Mind you I was pretty young so #1 I couldn't really throw that far and #2 I was stupid.
So I went outside right and thought to myself "Hmmm I could probably make this throw to the fountain." If I recall the fountain was pretty far away but ya know I was dumb.
Thinking I was John Elway or something I cocked my arm all the way back and threw that penny as hard as I could.
Was kinda like this...
Except for the penny shot straight up and ended up smashing like 5 light bulbs from the ceiling
. And it wasn't even like it was not noticeable. Made a huge noise and they shattered onto the floor. So like the naive fool I was, I looked around to see who saw and this Asian dude smoking who must've worked there saw me and screamed "AYE YOU, GET BACK HERE!"
I panicked and ran back inside to my Grandma chilling in the lobby. I thought I was safe because security wouldn't come arguing with an elderly lady
. Thinking I was A1 I tried to play it cool but security came cuz he must've snitched on me
So basically my mom yelled at me for thinking it was a good idea to throw a penny like 100 feet away which ended up breaking all these light bulbs.
The management was pissed and made my whole family leave the casino for destruction of property
.
And now my family always brings up the story of how I got them all kicked out of the Taj Hotel for my idiotic behavior
