the thread about nothing...

Funny story

When I was at the hospital my boy who was in the coma randomly asks "What is Ice Cube up to?". I tell him "ummm Barbershop 3"

I didn't think much of it cause he was on a ton of drugs

Later we find out he was convinced he had HIV for some reason and was yelling at the nurses about it

He watched the NWA movie a few days before and legit thought he was Eazy E for a little while :lol

Dude is at home recovering now :lol

Its a damn shame how little work I have to do for my current job. I spend a max 16-18 hours a week actually working and that includes me sitting in meetings. And I work from home 2-3 days a week... It sucks I may have to give it up at the end of the year...
Sounds like where I am now. It was cool at first, but I'm starting to think I have to do more. Scheduling is nice, but I'm starting to feel lazy. I'm also leaning towards stop buying shoes. It's about that time.
Say it ain't so, smh

Yeah, rising prices of retros and the fight just to get a shoe, a SHOE is jut beyond ridiculous now. At some point, you just get tired. Plus I'm satisfied where I am now in terms of that.

I literally feel like Tommy Lee Jones in No Country for old men. I am like 0 for 20 the last few sneaker releases. I just log on...wait in the e-line....fail miserably and go about my day unbothered. I feel like with bots and all this add to cart services i am just being put out to pasture.

Not mad though i need to save for college loans and some real estate at some point.

There was a professor of mine who would talk about the american problem of "bored at work". People act like being bored at work is a luxury l am so busy at work your lucky you have time to be bored. But from a mental state and appreciation standpoint being bored can be worse. Like its hard to have nothing to do at work.
I've never went the bot route, I've been lucky to get what I want in recent years, but that frustration is real. Limited and raffled stuff is an automatic no for me.

As far as bored at work, trust, I wasn't bored at all at my last postition. I wasn't even taking lunch on a regular basis before I left that position. Now with the new position I have it's an adjustment not having as heavy of a workload. I feel out of place a bit.

Say it ain't so was a bit of sarcasm, I been said **** them shoes a minute ago. Metallic 5s going to be my first cop in a minute. I'd probably pass on those too if I still had a pair in decent condition.

Turned 22 today :hat
Strange how time seems to go by so fast even in my situation
I think something is going on with my dad though. His birthday is 2 days before mine so I texted and called him to wish him a happy birthday but he never responded. I tried calling him a few times yesterday and today as well but still no answer.
