the thread about nothing...

Somebody broke into my car while I was in the mall tonight. Ran off and stole gym bag. Security chased him but he got away in his car. They got his license plate tho.

700

:smh:

License plate = RIP

I have gas this morning, and boy is it lethal. :x Will have to be cautious and courteous when releasing such gas at work today :nerd:

Got back from my neurology appointment, they didn't find any visual abnormalities around my pituitary gland so that's a relief. Howevever my blood tests got really bad results again, this time I only managed a testosterone value of 133

300 is considered the minimum of normal ranges, ideally close to 800 for a man of my age according to the endrocrinologists.

It also seems my congenital brain cyst has grown a little in size since last year but I don't have any complaints linked to the cyst so the specialists say it just requires frequent check-ups to monitor the size.

They could remove it but it's an unnecessary risk considering that it's been harmless for 22 years.

I marked its location with the arrows, it's on the bottom right side of my brain, near my cerebellum as seen on the middle 2 scans.

The neurologists have are now fully convinced that it's a metabolic/hormonal disease and have ruled out all of their potential diagnosis', aside from one. Did another blood test and will get the results in about 6 weeks.

Tomorrow it's back to the endocrinology department for an update on their recent findings of my hormonal deficiencies and probably more tests to look further into a potential diagnosis.

All the best, Belgium Belgium .

Just curious, are you active on any other kind of forum out there--perhaps one where people could relate more to what you've got going on?

By no means do I mean to sound disparaging, but this is a miscellaneous thread on a sneaker forum after all

well that almost sounds like good news Belgium Belgium metabolic/hormonal disease seems in the treatable realm right? to an extent at least?

I really hope they pinpoint and and you can start treatment to give you a path forward. Got to be hard going all this time with them still trying to figure it out and you are just left in limbo.

All the best man

One of my friends cars got broken into a while back and they took his amp and wallet and he had one of those giant books with cds and the thieves stole only certain cds

As far as I know they're generally treatable yes, to an extent. Maybe with a few exceptions. I always follow my personal guideline of expecting and preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. Seems to work well for me.

My presence here on NT in general is a bit unconventional, considering sneakers don't interest me at all.

I used to play Halo 3 with @Antidope  frequently and we were in a private group of top halo 3 players. When that eventually died down he suggested NT and I signed up.

Mostly stuck to the music section at first but started posting in general as well and I feel like I've grown to fit in pretty well here.

I used to post on bodybuilding.com forums back when I still worked out vigorously but there's little sense of community there unlike NT. I've looked into online support groups or forums for people with similar disabilities but I've found that environment to be kind of depressing. I'm a lot more comfortable talking about it on NT if that makes sense.

My "job" also helps keep me going at home. I was broke as hell a few years ago but with the help of some friends I also met through xbox/twitch I got into acquiring and selling social media usernames. 2016 was my best year in terms of profits. I'd have to check my paypal and bitcoin wallet for the exact amounts but I made at least €16000, all from home. It helps keep me busy at home because I have to work on it daily. And as a bonus I can save some money, help out my mom with the medical bills and use the excess on something for myself.

When I had long hair I used to rock hats on the daily. My ex of like 10 years ago would take my hat whenever we linked up. One day I went to her house and got like 8 hats back. We ended up going to dinner and I left the hats in the front seat. When we got back her passenger window was broken and my hats were missing. She was crying and was like "why would someone break my window"? Lol she never noticed that my hats were missing. I just stood there like "damn, did you cut anyone off on the way here" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Belgium Belgium Best of luck fam, I been following your medical situation. Stay strong and hopefully the situation gets better as the time passes

Man they broke in my pops car back in the day and stole like 35cents out the center console, no joke.
