the thread about nothing...

I'm really leaning towards this option bc the money I'd be saving would help me tremendously to pay off bills and stuff

Big issue tho, is my girl will have to find her own place to live (granted she can go back with her parents too) but both of our jobs are based within where we live now. My parents house isn't too far, shes in another state altogether (VA)...but still

So her parents are from VA or she currently is in VA?

Definitely have to discuss all options with her since you guys both live together.

Any options to find a place that is cheaper in rent, but have to sacrifice in commute?

LOL

That girl with the split has me feeling some type of way :{

I can either:

Move back in with parents while i go to school, and save on rent

Or

Pick up a weekend job, to make some extra money

wwyd?

Move with parents and work. Stack up and finish college with a nice safety net

Her parents live in VA, we're in MD...about 40 mins out from her old VA place

And yea man it's just been rough weighing all the options...i mean the smart choice is moving back with my parents, but that comes with so many residual effects

Honestly our rent isnt even much, but i'm putting about 80% of it and shes putting 20% cause of our income differences...if the rent were close to 50/50 i'd be just fine but i know i can't count on that

Then theres the whole "throwing money away on rent" aspect, considering what we've paid in rent alone for the year we been living on our own, it could've been better allocated to debts/savings etc

Man, that is a tough dilemma. Hope you and your GF are able to make a decision that works best for the both of you.
