I hate toll roads. I hate how America worships money. I racked up some toll fines, maybe few dollars worth. I get a collections statement in the mail for over 200 from a law firm or something. Kiss my *** m*********rs, and get that **** out of my grave. My old coworker said he had to get a lawyer to handle some old toll costs. Curious, I looked for an article on the matter and saw that some people have been sued for THOUSANDS of dollars for less than 100 on toll fees. Some as much as 10k and even 50k. There's no got damn reason people should be punished that heavily for a damn petty *** toll fine. The worst part is that some people had legit reasons as to why they didn't pay. One lady was taken off of her family member's toll account without her knowing and all of the letters were going to the family member. Her license ended up getting suspended and she didn't even know. She had to do a day in jail for that petty *** **** another lady lost her wallet and canceled her credit card and forgot to renew the pass. I swear I hate money and how greedy this damn country is. People already have it hard, are underpaid, taxed out of their ***, all to be kicked in the *** by some stupid *** fines. I swear to God I see why people sell drugs and do other unlawful things for money, you will get screwed out here smh it's like the only way some people can stay above water. i don't condone any form of robbery or stealing though. Even though it feels like we're constantly getting robbed.

I constantly say why can't common sense over take laws? Laws are there as a guideline...there are always exceptions. Not to mention im convinced toll money goes no where. With the amount of tolls in the DMV youd think we would have great infrastructure...yet the streets in baltimore are all a joke, full of pot holes. But there is tolls on 895, 95, 695.

I'm done with this commute..my interview tomorrow is for a co. 5 mins from my house..I'm not sure if the dress code..but if I get the job I'm considering getting a mountain bike and taking that to work lolol..current commute 50 miles total daily

I completely get what you're saying. But, pay the toll man. Not sure of your situation, but if you don't have EZPASS or correct money for the toll, you can fill out a paper and have them mail you the toll cost. Now in New York State it's easier than ever, they eliminated toll booths and just scan your plate and mail you a bill if you don't have EZPASS. If you owe it, just pay. It's just easier and not worth the headache. If it's unjust, fight it...with proof.

Speaking of tolls I take specific routes to pay the least amount..if I'm using the turnpike I also use the parkway and other state roads so I only end up paying $3 instead of $17 or some ****
