From what I've been reading Malls have been struggling across the country, online shopping being the main culprit along with raising rent prices too high. Were about to see alot of malls offering unique experiences in the future to combat it (Bowling Alleys, better restaurants, Arcades) along with renting out space to non retail companies
 
I do agree that malls can't survive if all they have are stores. You got to have restaurants, bars, a great food court, movie theaters in the area to buffer against slow times. I would love a bowling alley possibly in my area.
 
There's a mall where I live that has

A corner store

One of those beauty supply spots that sells weave (it's huge too)

And two of those places that sells bootleg cell phone cases

there is a random Macy's and Burlington too
 
Deptford/Cherry Hill Malls not closing down anytime soon. Both areas are booming. I love malls. Especially around holiday time. I'm gonna go to my mall the Saturday before Christmas just to people watch.
 
My mall is the second biggest mall in the tri state area and 11th biggest mall in the US

Nowhere near close to closing. Holiday traffic is truly a pain. Three weekends ago I think I was stuck at the same street light for four red lights.

I'm going to try to go tomorrow during non peak times and dip

The mall i use to go to during my childhood got 2 cornerstores, a uniform store, a video game store that still sells nothing newer than xbox 360 games, a tobacco store, an abandoned macys and an actual police office/station.

Had my senior check for school, became friends with a girl from Twin Peaks and she gave my friends and me her number, and found out Ryan Reynolds is voicing one of my favorite Pokemon of all time as a detective; what a day.

It doesn't seem too good to be true, only thing that has me kinda sketched is he wants me to come to his house. I've bought a bunch of stuff online before but I've always met up at a public spot. Google mapped it though and his neighborhood seems fine, it's not like he's making me drive to the hood lol
