the thread about nothing...

Last day of 2017. Life kinda lost its shine for me this year. Accomplished a whole lot and am probably better off than 99% of people. I got friends, a girl, a promising career, and healthy parents/sister/niece/nephew/pets.

Not sure what it is. I’m just not fired up about life. Am on vaca right now abroad in a foreign country seeing fam I haven’t seen in years and just want to be back home at my crib (having to remotely work isn’t helping prolly lol).

It’s hard to describe but I just don’t feel IT. I think I’ve lost a lot of my interest in people and in connecting with people. Stressed about stupid ish (financial security/too much student loan debt) and am not enjoying what I do have (everything else).

TLDR; Used to have passion for life and for new experiences. Now just want to be in my comfort zone.

Venting to get it out of my system. Hopefully can bring back the passion for life in 2018.

I’m sure y’all heard this...

What if you woke up today with only things you were thanksful for yesterday...

TAN, be thankful for it all (struggles, heartaches, pain, joy, happiness, life)..

Bring it on 2018! Blessings are coming!

I've worked remotely in the past and it is definitely not all that it is cracked up to be. The novelty wears off quick..It got to the point where I just started going back to the office. Do u have that option? It seems ur lack of daily social interaction is starting to take toll on u. Sometimes the convenience of working from home is not worth it at all..also by working from home u want to get out of ur house any way possible.

Do u go to the gym? That works wonders form a physical and mental perspective..I also think u need to focus more on ur passions maybe even pick up a new hobby.

U mention a 'comfort zone' and I think that may be ur problem.
