these were never meant to be jobs or careers

its meant for someone to do in spare time and supplemental

when people thought "hey i can make a living doing this" they made a mistake

thats just my take though

id rather get a career with a company full time with benefits and stock options

i know plenty of people who work full time, then uber at night and weekends

thats the way to do it

i value my social time way too much to work more than 40 hours a week if i don't have to
people have different wants and needs

everyone has different personalities and profiles as to what they feel makes them happy and how they define success

my point is that people take things that were not mean to be something and them get mad when it doesnt turn out that way

these cats are crazy

i got friends who do parkour in nyc, i joined it one time but only did ground level stuff, but not to that level of jumping across buildings like they did in this video.

you have to have be really flexible and have both upper and lower body strength to get this done. if not your not coming back with extra life like its video game or something if you slip up.

I'd assume they enjoy it to some degree with they "like" mentality. The likes just add even more appeal.

I enjoy sharing pics of my motorcycle on Instagram, but I definitely don't ride "for the likes".

Some dumb ish like eating Tide Pods, that's something I imagine is purely for internet points.

The parkour thing i wouldn't say it's for "likes" because it's an actual sport with a twist (gymnastics) but its in a different environment (the streets). Parkour was underground street sport in like france, japan, etc... way before youtube even got popular.

Youtube change the game on how we view and consume media. It's just the idiots out there who put crap prank that makes is think about human intelligence and attention span.
