the thread about nothing...

They really should utilize the G-League. High schoolers that don't want to go to college must do a required number of years in the g-league before going into the NBA

LeBron said it him self after the interviewed him about the ncaa scandal.

The still scout in the g-league and even nba players play in the g-league just at different pace in game.

If these high school kids /college kids wanna make some money so they can provide for themselves and family I see no harm. College should be a option of course but most of them aren't even going there for the education.

Like someone told me before "money talks, bullish walks" or "follow the money"

YouTube ceo promised that the human moderators that review disturbing material will get reduced hours. I'm a contractor under a Google project and we work on the same floor as the people that do that and I always had so many questions about that job. What do they say in the interview? Do they provide psychological evaluations before and after hiring the people? Even if I was hurting for a job I don't know if I could view and flag stuff like snuff vids, inappropriate porn and such all day.

The best part of school made itself known to me this week, 6 weeks into the semester. Turns out there's a really hot classmate who lives walking distance from me. I noticed she was taking the LIRR with me and I came up to her on some 'hey aren't you from Dr. K's class?' We ended up talking the whole hour commute to school.

Got her number tonight.

She's cool, and she's hot, but damn, she got a boyfriend though :frown:

I'm not going to homewreck but I'll just be cool and chill in the cut :nerd:

I'm probably in that friend zone already.

I probably played it too nice.

That is my problem. I'm always so nice and respectful and careful not to cross lines once I hear there's a boyfriend in the mix that I probably friend zoned myself right away in doing that

*sigh

Man, I had the worst luck when it came to girls in my class. They were either seniors that graduated the very next semester or already had boyfriends. There was one that almost happened but that's a different story

Nike president Trevor Edwards will be leaving the sportswear giant after reports of inappropriate workplace behavior have surfaced.

The news of Edwards stepping down was announced to staff by CEO Mark Parker via a shocking company wide email, which was sent out this evening. The email also addresses the reports of inappropriate workplace behavior and how Parker is committed to serve as the brand’s CEO, president and chairman beyond 2020. Edwards, who was the likeliest contender to take over Parker’s role as CEO, will retire in August. Edwards has been with the Swoosh since 1992. Due to these recent unveilings, Nike Inc. has stated it will begin reviewing these allegations. There have been no direct allegations against Edwards, reports Bloomberg.

Take a look at the email sent out by Parker, which was acquired by Fast Company below:

“Team,

Over the past few weeks, we’ve become aware of reports of behavior occurring within our organization that do not reflect our core values of inclusivity, respect and empowerment at a time when we are accelerating our transition to the next stage of growth and advancing our culture. This disturbs and saddens me…

We are going to be doing a comprehensive review of our HR systems and practices along with elevating our complaint process for matter of respect issues. We will increase and invest more heavily in our diversity and inclusion teams and networks and additionally will immediately put in place an enhanced process to encourage our employees to speak up and make their voices heard…

Further I want to share with you that in light of my desire to accelerate change, I’ve made the decision to restructure my leadership team into a different alignment that will allow for closer management and a sharper focus on our culture…I also want to communicate that I am committed to serve as Chairman, President and CEO for Nike beyond 2020. Trevor Edwards has decided to resign as Nike Brand President and will retire in August. He will serve as an advisor to me until his retirement as we transition the organization.

I’d like to thank Nike for his significant contributions to Nike over the last 25 years. He has helped us grow and strengthen our brand on a global scale…”

Homie probably thought he was God, so was probably power tripping/abusing his power to finesse people or harassing women, im sure there are nike employees saying off with his head instead. Stupid i don't care if he black, homie probably has not right to treat people with poor behavior, no one will respect your if you move to ceo or seat.
