We're used to 70-80 year round.
Was 45 this morning when i left. Shrinkage was in full effect

Was at 7 Eleven and the cashier was ringing me up. This woman who just walked out of the store and walked back in asking to exchange some candy. The cashier said "OK". Then when the woman was far away at the end of the isle, he looked at me and said under his breath "******* *****".

I'm guessing you live in a house? I grew up in an apartment in Oakland that was several floors high and never had to turn on the heat.

Yea I live in a house. That must be nice, not having to turn on the heat. It gets pretty expensive.

I’m sure it happens more often than we think. Cashiers have to deal with a lot of BS, esp 7 eleven type of settings.

People in SoCal are spoiled. Depending on the area, temps are close to 70 degrees year round.
It's nice to be in that weather, but I need seasons. I like the winter.

I don't know the history of the woman and the cashier. I only saw what I recounted. I do not know what happened prior, so I cannot judge. Like I said I hardly go to this store, so it doesn't matter much to me.
