I'm in the middle; I like having a rough itinerary but I'm pretty flexible with it. If I'm going somewhere I'll typically make a "must-do" list of a few things and then the rest can be whatever.


Also, I'm not a coffee-snob by any stretch of the imagination but Dunkin Donuts coffee is ***

You could easily get tickets to a FCB match on ticketmaster if there's a match while youre in the city. I got tickets morning of 10 rows up for a match. Nothing like being surrounded by 90000 people all there to see the GOAT.

Take a 1 hour train trip up north to Montserrat for some downtime in the mountains. Need the whole day for a trip, and if you go all the way up the mountain, you can see breathtaking views of the Pyrenees mountain range.

Lots of michellin star restaurants in barca. The creativity at some of these places is ridic.

Drink lots of vermouth.

In the Gothic area there was a bakery called Chok. Get your Cronut fix without fighting any lines.

The other old cafe that gets all the publicity for serving hot chocolate and Churros there is nothing special.
