the thread about nothing...

That’s why Marketers and Strategy make the big bucks.

I heard working as a head of strategy in an enterprise is no bueno because you have no P&L.

If you want to do strategy, it’s better to be a consultant.

Thoughts?

Just realized Rachel McAdams and Elizabeth Banks aren't the same woman.

I thought it was all Rachel McAdams the entire time.

Seen some dude earlier with this hat on and almost shed a tear.

I had this hat I want to say from 2010ish-12 after I saw it on my older cousin and fell in love. Thing fit me perfect, too. Took it on my trip to El Salvador and when had to ride on the back of a pick up on dirt roads, the thing got decimated with dirt. Came back home, took it to a dry cleaners (I was young, stupid and desperate :frown:) and they completely cleaned it but also completely destroyed the shape at the same time. |l

Wish I could neg you for this.

Baechel McAdams deserves more respect.

Literally laughed out loud. They do look hella similar though.

Klay missing tonight's game was huge. KD and Klay coming back to win 3 in a row?

I don't remember the 2016 Finals all that well, but did the Cavs actually play Mozgov and Thompson together much or was it more so platooning those guys? I ask because what Siakam and Ibaka is doing is forcing the Warriors to play big (Cousins at the 5 and actual size at the 4). The good news for them is Kevin Durant is 7 ******* feet tall and plays like a guard...but I've never seen a front court dictate how the game is going to go against the Warriors the way Ibaka and Siakam have.

Ugly *** win but its the finals you take what you can get. Raptors shouldn't be satisfied with this win, star power was depleted but they STILL needed miracle shots to pull this off. Lowry cant stay out of foul trouble

I’ve been on both sides and most CSO’s own the P&L (I’ve never seen otherwise actually). I have seen CMOs not own it but are still the last leg in every decision. For instance, Sbux CMO recently pulled the plug on an ad the day before it ran.

It just depends on the corporate structure. Plus consulting hours suck eventually. Don’t get me wrong, being a partner at 38 and making a Mill is awesome, but you are working 120 hours a week.

Most of my friends still in consulting have plans to get out or retire at 45. I love working so client side is more my speed. Making a tad less but having that work life balance is more beneficial than the anxiety I used to have at the end of an M&A deal.

Okay I'm super confused.

Friend of mine (iPhone) just called me (also iPhone) and I missed the call. I called him back and he answered as if I had just called him. Turns out he said he had a call from me the minute before and when he picked up it was just ringing.

The thing is, my phone was in the bedroom and I am in the living room on my laptop.....

Consider me shook.

2nd day after ACL + Meniscus reconstruction surgery.. I'm sure all the anesthesia has worn off and this pain is crazy. Luckily I got some percs to hold me down for now but man using the bathroom and even just getting out of bed is crazy painful

Can you even move your leg? I remember a youtube video of some chick trying to walk on hers and she ended up injuring herself again
