(CNN)Former NBA player Sebastian Telfair has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison for gun possession, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced Monday.
Telfair was convicted of criminal possession of a weapon in April after officers found a gun in his car during a 2017 traffic stop.
The 33-year-old former point guard who once played for teams including the Boston Celtics, Portland Trail Blazers, and Minnesota Timberwolves was pulled over in Brooklyn on June 11, 2017 after parking on a center median, making a U-turn off the median and driving without headlights, the district attorney's office said in a news release, citing trial testimony.
The officers who pulled Telfair over reported smelling the odor of marijuana and observed a lit marijuana cigarette in the car's console, the release from the district attorney's office said.
After Telfair and a male passenger were arrested, officers searched the vehicle and recovered a loaded .45 caliber gun in the console, the district attorney's office said.
"This defendant exercised his right to a jury trial and was found guilty of possessing an illegal firearm," Gonzalez said in a statement. "The mandatory prison sentence he received today is required by law and he has now been held accountable for the unlawful conduct."

I thought the 12K claim was FOS too, until I analyzed the details. She only did porn for 3 months collectively. On iafd it lists 29 credits to her name. It reads that some of those 29 are compilations, so I suppose this means that the scene could've been redistributed in a DVD with others as well as being sold individually. So in actuality, it might be more like 25 scenes. But either way 25 or 29 scenes, the math would come out to 400-500 per scene average. Seeing her ranked high for so long certainly gave the perception that she was doing way more scenes.
We can say she goofed in highsight but she was new and naive. There was no way she would've known she would blow up to become this big. Nor was she in a position to negotiate for a higher pay when she was starting out because she was unknown.

I still don’t believe it. I read somewhere that she’s still making some money with her name through porn. Even if she’s only in it for 3 months I’m sure she knows what’s the going rate is for female “stars” even if they’re an amateur. That’s the main reason why most of them get into it.

I have seen this 1k/scene figure that you brought up thrown around in general. But keep in mind that number is based on hearsay and rumors about the industry in general. Even then that is 1k/scene is suppposed to be the AVERAGE. Anyone new to any field or career does not immediately get paid the average, they start off low and work their way up. Considering this dynamic and the fact that she could've easily been exploited and manipulated when she was young, I am starting to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Yes to the bold part, but it would be through means outside of those 25-29 scenes she shot in 3 months. If she has not found other ways to profit off her fame, then she failed miserably and has nobody to blame.
