Just told her it was really loud, and that I could hear everything thru the ceiling including the bass, she seemed annoyed by my request but complied...just not trying to wake up to stomps at two am as retaliation of some sort

You're better than me. I fight fire with fire. I have the level of pettiness required to bang on the wall as hard as I can for 10 minutes straight to be sure my call for attention is heard through the loud music.
