Got into an accident tonight fams. Feelsbatman

-Stopped at a light

-Tried switching lanes

-There was a blindspot and I didnt see the lady coming

-Sideswiped me with her expedition (I'm in a civic)

-Knicks the fenderl but her car is so big that the force popped the bumper off

-Luckily only body damage (fender, mirror)

-Front bumper is fine, just popped off. No dents, no nothing

Got a ticket with 3 points added to my license. I'm 20 years old, first accident where I'm at fault (been in two that weren't my fault). Hopefully my insurance rate doesnt skyrocket

It means if you get in an accident thats your fault your monthly rates and deductible wont go up. Its basically a get out of jail free card with your insurance company.

Most if not all companies offer it but you usually have to ask about it because they rarely advertise the service and it almost never comes with a basic policy.

I'm with State Farm, I doubt my parents added that on. I've been accident free (where I was at fault) for all 5 years I've been driving but that doesn't mean anything to the insurance company
