I just parked and sat down, wasn’t looking at my phone. I saw them walking and gave the benefit of the doubt but my spider sense was tingling a bit but ignored it...stupid move on my part. It was broad daylight too. Dumb****s didn’t even take my cash. I was trying to buy time when it was happening to wait for the right moment for anything. But...oh well.

Was looking at the footage with the cops, they said those p***** looked scared and was hesitating. We will see what’s going to happen.

Were they all traveling by foot? Maybe they ran to one of the Bart stations and they can get more footage there?

Yea I was a block away from Lake Merritt Bart. I told them they ran that direction. They said they have footage of 3 of them on Bart or something and 2 went a diff direction. One of them took off their cheap *** warriors jacket and cops found it. In the footage they saw who was wearing the jacket.

When one of them can’t start my car cuz he doesn’t know how to drive stick and ran off, I ran to my car and started to drive toward the direction they ran and was thinking About hitting them with my car if I see them, but saw someone with a phone down the street and told him to let me use it. I figured it’s early enough to maybe get them. Surprisingly cops arrived within 5 min.

It’s crazy how you never realize how essential your phone is till you don’t have one.
my biggest thing was my alarm and my gps lol I was waking up late and getting lost

Hahah yea I need my alarm! Gotta use my iPad alarm now. Just gonna buy the cheaper iPhone 11 tmr. They took my 11 Pro Max and I dont want to spend another $1100. Really need that gps...going on a road trip next week too.

I don't want to be Captain Obvious, but why didn't you sit inside of your car to wait? It sounds like they were just passing by and decided right then to rob you. Like they didn't plan to look for someone to rob. Otherwise they would be equipped with more than just rocks.

I usually like to sit by the steps while I wait to get some fresh air and sun. I’m usually around that area since I pretty much hung out around that part of Oakland and my buddy owns that apt complex and I felt comfortable. Like I said my spider sense was tingling and I ignored it today which I shouldn’t have. Cops said they’re not just passing by...there was an incident involving the same group in the area last week or two and they were caught but dont the know why they were let go. If you saw them, you’ll know they’re not “just passing by”. They were looking for the right moment, unfortunately it was me today. At the same time, I refuse to live in fear.

So they were caught and let go only to commit the same crime again shortly afterwards. Doesn't make sense.

The previous victims dropped charges or something, not sure. All they said was they were let go. Maybe the previous victim was scared of them coming back if they pressed charges...that’s the Asian community for you. These are just my assumptions...I didn’t want to keep asking the police about what happened before. I was more focused on what was happening today.

Losers like these don’t care if it’s the same place doing the same thing.
