I got a job mainly to work with my boy and son quit today cause he couldn't handle two jobs. I aint mad at him hes getting paid more in his other job so good for him. But why make me go through the hassle of getting hired and,yore just gnna quit. And tbh i aint even wanna work here , just did it to chill and get some extra $ . I was still hustling and making bread so its not like i was hurting for $. $8 working retail with a ******** annoying store manager not whats up.

same thing happened to me. My boy got me a job where he worked but they ended up moving him to another mall like a month in. If the manager wasnt so chill and my co-workers werent cool i would have threw the deuces a long time ago.

That's the thing. The coworkers are mehhh, and my manager is cool. But the job itself is not really my thing. But the store manager is a prick. I don't see myself here for that long. Im still stuck between collecting a,few checks and leaving in December or bouncing now.

I would just chalk that up as a life lesson learned. Don't make decisions based on other people. Folks are going to do what is best for themselves and you should too, in order to not put yourself in compromising positions or depending on things you can't control.


Imagine doing that with a full time career position......then you'd really be stuck.

I don't' know why but i am in extremely high spirits today.

Just got told my raise starts Nov 4th. Which means it should be on my paycheck middle of the month. Really hoping i don't hit a higher tax bracket i need this raise to finally start living.
25 years old penny pinching for the last 4 years. Time to waste some money for once.

Speaking of raises I need to get up with my boss. Been here 5 years and never heard of a raise. I went to him 2 weeks ago with the notion and now I'm just waiting on the final word. He said he's not opposed to it and my immediate boss doesn't really care.

Congrads bro. Its funny its one of those things where you don't want to say anything because you would like them to notice youre working hard and offer it to you. But of course they wouldn't pay you more if you didn't want to be paid more. Some times you just got to bring it up.

I wish employers would realize that a small raise here and there doesn't really effect the bottom line too much (2k extra a year) but raises workers morale a lot. Complacency at the work place is easy to offset with incentives.

THIS EXACTLY don't get me wrong I love my job...IT'S THE DAMN PEOPLE AT MY HOSPITAL!!! that gets me frustrated/stressed out...either they are lazy or don't know how to do their job...In short I gotta do my share and spend the rest of the time helping them finish their's ...I need to transfer out to a new UNIT lolz :x

Realtalk that's what,i learned from this. Im done,trying to please people and whatnot. I did it cause its a part time and im 18 years old so its,not that serious. I would NEVER do that with my career no way. I realized that i try to please everybody and helping others out even if its against my best interest. Im done with that .
