5? Nah but I think sf is more concentrated and compact so I feel it more, the vibe more. The hills and ****, the hanging lanterns. Dont get me wrong I love both. But I've seen more **** go down in sf. I've seen more Chinese gangsters in sf off top. I love both, at this point I'd rather be in NYC as far chinatowns go I love San Francisco's more. NYC is bigger tho.
My parents use to have a shop on Jackson St in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. Used to have me work child labor there on the weekends haha. The vibe was good especially during Chinese New Year and you’re right gangsters was all over the place. Undercover Cops use to think I was one and would try to test me asking me questions pretending to be tourists. Miss eating all those food on the weekends. I still get it once in a while for lunch during the work week and brings back memories.

Never been to NYC but they’re suppose to have the biggest Chinatown in the US?!? Why do you think it’s diff from other states? Not as authentic? Not enough MSG? Haha

The ones here in the Bay use to be a lot better but most of them sucks now, don’t know what happened.
I thought SanFran had the biggest & most authentic Chinatown in the U.S?

I used to workout with a personal trainer and during a 7 month span, I am pretty sure I caught two different strains of cold from him. I coughed profusely and thick dark green phlegm came out on both occasions. Both times took a while longer to fight off because I struggled to fall asleep. My theory is that the personal trainer comes in close contact with so many people everyday and was bound to spread a lot of germs. A few years have passed and I haven't been seriously sick since.

During this quarantine, more people are posting Facebook stories and Facebook lives. I've learned a lot of new things that I did not know about prior.
