the thread about nothing...

I’m assuming it’s the autumn red from Angelus paint.
I might give it a go. It’s the poor mans Chicago’s.
I was curious to see what the highs were going for too. Seems like $500+ is the new norm for shoes now.

Exactly. The best part was it was only $1 and made me feel good. I used to love my dad’s car. That thing had chrome Cragar wheels, dual side door exhaust, headers, traction bars and lifted rear end suspension. This was back in the mid 80s so mostly poor people drove 60’s gas guzzlers. It didn’t have that cool factor until a few years later when collectors started snapping them up. I remember there was a time when one of his buddies wanted to trade his 1968 Dodge Charger for my dad’s car but he didn’t like the Chargers’ red paint  We got a second car (1980 Ford Granada) and would you believe my dad ended up giving away the car because he didn’t feel like changing the brakes? Would’ve taken care of that baby:angry::frown:
Damnn that's fire man! Cragars were everywhere in that era, went with just about every classic. Side exhaust is a lost art bro along with louvers & T-tops. I actually put louvers on my Challenger via aftermarket because I absolutely love that old school look they give + it helps the car is a modern take on the 70s model to begin with so it goes hand-in-hand. I hear ya on that- no one thought them cars would be collectible some day down the line. Bet that Cougar in the right condition is upwards of 50g+ easy now. I wish to have a classic of my own one day God willing. Man, if he had done the Charger trade that would've been insane. That's like a holy grail Mopar for many motor heads, my brother included. I'm more of a diehard Challenger guy classic/modern don't care-Challengers all day long for me lol. Them Granadas were dope too...given not the best looking of cars but built like a tank & more than adequate for family hauler duties. If only your Dad changed them brakes lol. Does he have any regret letting it go all these years later? And btw I know it's old, but he ever get his lottery moola?

Ask in the Jordan forums, they’d know. It should be an easy one to do :emoji_thumbsup:
I got lucky and won the only raffle I was able to enter for those 2015 Chicago’s. Those joints are still deadstock in my closet.

I bought some Jordan XI’s a while back and didn’t clean them just yet due to COVID.....and the most obscene pile of dog **** on their soles  Whoever donated to goodwill never wore them again because of it. Well, I just washed them and they’re air drying as we speak. Will post pics a little later.

zmaqbool zmaqbool , Me and my bro grill him about it from time to time  He just laughs it off and says “how was I supposed to know?”. Nobody wanted those cars back then, it’s true. Yeah bro, I love Mopars too and the muscle cars in general. I’ve seen those rear window louvers and I agree fully with looking good on the modern stuff as well.

As for his lotto situation, they’ve been stalling him because a big part of their operations is still down due to covid. He got a lawyer already but I haven’t asked him about it, I’m not holding my breath either. Hope he learned his lesson though.

Lol I'd kick myself for selling that whip. But no fault of his own. Truly, no one saw the collectability opportunity heading their way back then. Same here bro, muscle cars is where it's at! Love me some JDM classics too though. Oh yeahhh didn't even think Covid would affect the lotto situation, damn. Hopefully it works out in his favor in the near future

I've been trying to avoid buying the Whitestone Dome Glass for my S20 Ultra, but it seems that every other tempered glass screen protector is trash.
