I just copy and paste the image in to my post and that's done the trick for me

Heres another solution

I use this html code to post them, just take the url of your gif and replace image.gif with it

<img src="image.gif" />

http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/180qn79k8yfgtgif/original.gif

So it looks like this:

<img src="http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/180qn79k8yfgtgif/original.gif" />

In your reply box, at the top left corner. It should say source. click that, paste the code and you're money

If the reply box doesnt have a source button, then just paste it and it should work

or save the image to your computer and click the image icon in the Reply toolbar. Click browse and find the image. Some images won't load. If that happens, upload them to a third party site then copy and paste the image code.

Dang, EVERYONE was in X-files at one point. It's like The Cosby Show for all the other races.

Pretty much, embed code is the way to go..if you're taking gifs from a host site just use their embed code. If your taking a gif from a normal site, use the code above I posted which is the same code host sites use.

If you use firefox, the easiest way is to just highlight the gif (like text) right click, go to view selection source. The highlighted area you see is the html code to post the gif

Try to find another site though...photobucket usually turns the gifs I upload into avatar size for some reason.
