Foggy night

I still remember when I first beat Mario, Punch Out, and Street Fighter II. I remember after SFII I called a couple buddies and told them cause none of us knew anyone who beat the game yet. Such a different time back then when the only info available on games were via gamer magazines & word of mouth.

Nice work 👍
Yeah man, I had to call in my friends from the neighboring apartment to come check it out “see! I passed it”. They’d smile and hit me with “hey, so you wanna ride bikes?”

No lie, got the same response  . I mean they wanted to know what happens in the end so I told them not much & it was on to the next subject lol.

Btw, Huffy or Dyno?

How the hell do 24hr fitness get away with closing at 9pm? :smh:
I need to get this classaction lawsuit started.

There used to be one right across the street from me. It was a small 24hr Fitness, think it was an Active one. They were only opened 24hr on Fri and Sat.

The one by me is a supersport and they close at 10pm m-th. 9pm on Fri and 8pm on weekends . I live in Los Angeles btw. Not some small town in the middle of the country.

for me, it was showing them how it's done so that they could try it out themselves. it was indeed a different time. we kids normally go out and play and go somewhere even if we have videogames to play with. now, kids just sit and eat and play in the basement playing video games. while I love videogaming, I experience cabin fever which enables me to go out and do something else. some people though are the opposite and would possibly stay in the basement forever til they die. can't do that.

I won’t join them on principle after they invited me in and they were closed at 2 p.m. on a Sunday? If you’re not open 24-Hour Fitness let someone else have this building space. Butcher shop without meat head ***.

Haha, yeah same type of response

I ran with Dyno back then! Similar to the bike I have now, this one is a made to look older with the decals, tires and chain. It still gets looks when I take it out for a spin.

When I divulged I surprisingly gained weight within the last year on here a week ago, I can't believe I forgot to mention how ironic it was because I do ride a bike to get around. Theoretically, riding a bike almost daily should keep weight down. Not with me though.

I do recall mentioning I've been eating outside way less the last few years.

I didn't expect to gain weight to the point I would have to get new pants and shorts based on the fact I ride a bike and I eat outside way less than I used to.

Riding a bike has been a somewhat substitute exercise for me since I stopped exercising in the neighborhood rec center when the pandemic began.

I was convinced I missed a day - my wife has been away a couple of days so I’m working, looking after the dog, our 19yo…

Turns out the streak is still alive - just forgot
I’d done it.
