Man, kids sports are killer - watching them chase the ball and call for it while there’s no space bothers me. They rejigged the league my daughter plays in - it’s under 16s but her team are all 14ish and were getting beaten pretty badly most weeks. They basically split it in 2 so there’s an older and a younger section - and it was definitely the right call.
I’ve been getting pretty frustrated watching them - but it was hard with bigger, older girls - their defense made it hard to play and it was no fun.
They’ve won the last couple of games since the change and they look like a different team - moving and passing the ball and it’s great. My lessons are getting through too - she’s scored a bit but in the first quarter I think she had 10 rebounds!
She would kill me if I shouted but if someone could tell her to keep her hands up that would be great.
