Definitely useful. The top part of the thing (the part going to space) has been able to be brought back and recycled for a while (the space shuttle is probably the best example) but the engines that do the initial acceleration, and are a significant part of the whole thing, get jettisoned and while they were recovered and some of the parts reused if you could land that part (as SpaceX just did) then that goes a long way to making rocket launches easier, cheaper, and with a shorter turnaround.

I've been thinking of getting a model 3. Especially with the 0%APR. Definitely not a musk guy but I know other than being the figurehead and pseudo businessman he's not really behind the genius technological advancements from Tesla and SpaceX. I'm torn but if I didn't buy products from every company that has a CEO that was trash I wouldn't be able to buy anything.

I look at the culture of the fans.
I call Chick-Fil-A 'bigotry chicken', not because of the owners or whoever, but because any CFA you walk into is full of straight,white bigots.
The day CFA is known for welcoming non-straight people and POC, that will be the next time I have their amazing lemonade.
