We have very different tastes on things that I like the most, but we have similar taste in general. We hate a lot of the same things.

Prestige- in my personal top 20 I think

Incendies: haven’t seen it but Villenueve is in my top 10 directors, I’m sure I’d like it

The fast franchise (long explaining) : love the first one. Second one made me not want to watch another. Watched 5 with a girl I was into at the time and that one blew me away. Then I didn’t watch another one until I started collecting physical media again last year. Watched 1,2,3…….. and yeah that’s as far as I got I think.

Nolan’s Trilogy: Outstanding. I didn’t enjoy “Rises” nearly as much as the 1st 2. Actually call it big trash from time to time. But I thought it was cool looking, well acted, and had memorable action scenes. Just a few things didn’t flow well story-wise, and some characters were wasted/poorly written. Grades of A-, A+, and C, whatever that averages out to.

Midsommar: hated it. Hate hate hated it.

Man Called Otto: haven’t seen it, but it’s on the list. I’ve heard good things.

Poor things: hard to rate or give an opinion on this one. I liked most of the imagery, like the set designs and cinematography. It’s beautiful. And Emma doing “those” scenes was…..cool. Oh and also Ruffalo and Dafoe were hilarious. But I could NOT tell you what the movie was about. Plot wise or metaphorically or none of that :lol

Uncut Gems: I saw this in a packed locally owned theater and the entire crowd got into it. Had a blast watching it, but I haven’t seen it a second time. I guess good but not anything special.

Room: only watched it once when it came out almost 10 years ago. The only thing I can remember is that I liked it and I told people to see it.

My man. 🔥
Incendies: haven’t seen it but.... I’m sure I’d like it
Ab. So. LUTELY.

You're missing nothing.
I'm jealous of the 20ish hrs you've saved.

Yessir. 🔥
Man Called Otto: haven’t seen it, but it’s on the list. I’ve heard good things.
Again: AMAZING.
Poor things: I could NOT tell you what the movie was about. Plot wise or metaphorically or none of that :lol
Exactly what I said at closing credits!!
"What... was THAT?!"
Uncut Gems: good but not anything special.
Fair. Like, decent storytelling, but... meh.
Room: I liked it and I told people to see it.
Good enough.
One of my few 8/8 in our main thread.
It's perfect.

Didn't know we were this close. Honestly thought you loved Midsommar and thought Prestige was underwhelming.
😂😬🤦🏻‍♂️
