super hot take but to exist as a woman is to embody that phrase really...which isn't to say women can't lead or be strong, or whatever empowering thing but if you look at how LDE is defined by women & overlay it with how many women act out in the world (attention seeking, false confidence, entitlement, insecurity) especially when dealing w/a guy they actually like...even just on a fundamental level insecurity is the modus operandi of the human animal much moreso the woman, its just that men have shaped society such that the individual man is less necessary while women's agency, & rightfully so, has increased in ways that kinda highlight the former point
