The second sentence is a fragment and is incomplete. If you were to say, "In becoming who.... (comma) the students continue on to careers and new opportunities (or whatever). Then it would make sense. But in the current form the second sentence needs a subject.

Got slapped with 14 Felonies/Did not pass Go/Landed in Jail/2 years probation
Got out of jail/got 90 % of charges expunged and am working on the last one

hang in there guy!I'm normally positive but this week is getting worse and worse.
-My body is falling apart - my rotator cuffs are killing me and I can't move my hands behind my head. Both of my knees are acting up.
-I'm dealing with some legal issues, but I'm out of money
-I'm out of money
-I have a mole that continues to grow and change color but the doctors insist there's nothing to worry about
-Can't tell my parents anything
-Failing a class because of my bad decisions
I'm just trying to take a week long nap
fix what you can, and talk with your parents even if you wont like what they'll say.

All you can do when it seems that things are getting worse is just keep going. Tell yourself things will get better, surround yourself with people, music, hobbies, etc., that you know make you happy, and try to chip away at your problems day by day. It's never easy and there's no magic cure, but all you can do is continue to try... it's just that simple.
