With the shredded beef I'm just gonna season a chuck roast then boil/steam it for like 2 hours till I can pull it apart

cream of turkey, I'm not really sure.... but it'll just be a basic cream/milk based soup so it should be easy
use the shredded beef and make flautas instead.

flautas are my favorite- especially chicken with some pico and guac to dip in

i like to top them with lettuce, guacamole (the real kind), lime, sour cream, and parmesan cheese.

shave down and not upwards

Still never got the hang of it

It's shave with the grain, not against. Just happens for many people, shaving with the grain means going down. But for me, my facial hair grows in different directions in certain spots, so I wasn't realizing that I was shaving directly against the grain and being way too rough in certain areas, which always lead to irritation.

Rustle your jimmies or any variation of that saying is such a brutally lame phrase...

Ick.. Rustle your jimmies... ooOOOOOooOOo got me there

So lame. No idea what made that popular. Im guessing /b/ or Misc or someone on twitter but yeahh

Brutal.

Now the cliche thing to do for any NTer is to say "Your jimmies rustled?" or "Who rustled your jimmies brah?"

Predictable.

big j can you school me on safety razors? 8o

how often do you switch out the blades? do you have a go-to brand?

Everyone wishes they could grow a beard, until you can and don't want one.

If you want to be clean shaven then it can get tiresome having daily or every other day. Switching to a safety razor, badger brush and better creams made it go from a chore to a relaxing start to my day and far better shaves.

One of the best investments I've made and saved me money long run.

Enlighten me 8o

Sounds intriguing
Here's the original article that put me on safety razors, but some of the links might be outdated or no longer in stock.

http://www.artofmanliness.com/2008/01/04/how-to-shave-like-your-grandpa/

Read the article, but in short, you pay more upfront. Razor, blades, brush, bowl, creams, and whatever after shave lotion you choose. But you end up saving money long term because you don't have to keep buying cheaper disposable razor cartridges and canned cream. Everything all together for me probably cost 50 in total, but since then I've only had to buy a new pack of razors just once and I've had to replace my cream only twice (and I liberally used it when I didn't need to). So in four years I've spent at most 75-80 for shaving gear. Compared to spending 7-8 dollars for a few cartridges (It might be more I have no idea anymore) and then another 5 or whatever for the cream every couple of months?

I bought a Merkur razor, Proraso shaving cream, a basic/cheap pure badger brush, and a 100 pack of Derby Blades (for 8 dollars and you can use them a few times until they get dull). My shaves are better than ever before, my face feels great, rarely get any irritation since my hair grows in a few different directions, and it just feels good. The best way to describe it... it went from a daily grooming chore to something I enjoy doing.

Derby 100 count for 7.50 very good beginner blade..Amazon product ASIN B004SGKMA0. they're forgiving so you probably won't cut yourself on them, but they'll do the job. I'd recommend a variety pack, which Amazon will have, and make sure they have Derby blades in there. So you can practice using those, before you accidentally use something REALLY sharp like a Feather razor (which was insanely sharp for me). With the Derby blades, I'll get at least two shaves out of every blade before I notice it might be duller. So for 7.50 there's at least 200 great shaves in there.. but if you're really ballin like that, you can change every time you shave.
