How did you get your scar?
Bitten by a dog at 18 months on my neck (it was my grandmother's dog, I thought it was a horsee) + subsequent surgery made it worse, and I have keloid skin. Bad combo...

Keloids ain't a joke...luckily it doesn't run in my fam as far as I know

Keliod skin is fibrous tissue that overly protects your skin once it is broken. It can be flat in appearance or be a big mass with nodules

I finally mustered up the courage to google image Keliod skin...took me less than a second to realize that I had made a big mistake.

Yea it will work to break up the scar tissue. Then you can also get some Adapalene, which is found in products like Differin, to take care of the discoloration.
