wolf of wall street was alright but too long, the last 30 minutes was pretty redundant.

lone survivor had too much shooting, really couldn't get past all the hoorah marine stuff. I'm sure army guys enjoyed it.  and a lot of friday night lights music.

Dallas Buyers Club was pretty cool.

This is ridiculous considering the movie was about the Navy.

So definitely dont take this dudes word for it.  How a movie with that subject matter had "too much shooting" is beyond me.

The only poorly executed moment to me, was the interaction between Wahlberg and the kid

i apologize for getting the two mixed up. But I think you saw my point.

What I meant was, there was a lot of slow motion death scenes with friday night lights music playing in the background. A lot of 'wer are brothers talk'.

I don't mind shooting in movies but I just didn't like the execution of lone survivor.

My top six military movies:

3. Black Hawk Down

4. Three Kings

5. Hurt Locker

6. Letters from iwo jima

I feel you, but thats why this movie had to be made, the average guy sitting on his couch couldnt comprehend ya know?  Mike Murphy made a conscious decision to die so that his boys could live.  During the brief bit of time I spent with MarSOC and Recon units, I gotta say, they are the most tight knit bunch of guys I've ever come across in any walk of life.  That story HAD to be told, not to mention its based on the book, so I'd imagine that alot of the dialogue came from there...
