I think the world is so soft now, everything is such a big deal, you can't even call someone "the G word" ....even if they are "the G word" without it being a national incident. You can't say anything... people are all "don't judge me...but if you do something I don't agree with, then we will all judge and shame you". I think this whole "be yourself...unless yourself is something we don't agree with then be like us" mentality this whole "freedom of speech...except the speech we don't like" attitude is confusing and ruining our future.
I blame the interwebz for allowing dumbass to get shine...constantly.

You right, we did **** it up. We didn't really have parents there kuz of the Crack Epidemic, subsequent gang wars, LAPD n Sherrif's Department corruption. Most kids I knew where I grew up had no fathers, mothers that were strung out, gang culture, n the police ****n with us. It's hard to know right from wrong when that's the only side you see. Then that leads to TV n the streets raising us, which leads to teen pregnancy, incarceration, unfit parents, etc. So yeah, I guess we did get the ball rolling, but don't act these 90s babies ain't have a role in it either.

I hate that a lot of kids don't have at least one parent or family member who can pull them out of the cycle.
my mom and aunt got me out and I'll forever be grateful. Had my **** ups but I got lucky. Came out with a kid at a young age but that honestly helped me out even more.
I hate that my seed has to be around all these other kids though that's where problems come in.

Wird up I got a boy with a three year old and just today I told him to keep his kid away from all the other kids that people from our hs had. Knowing the parents makes me not have hope for any of them.I hate that a lot of kids don't have at least one parent or family member who can pull them out of the cycle.

The amount of people I know with kids who shouldn't have kids
, living in the trap starting the cycle all over again.To be honest, my Grammas saved me, for the most part, I had to learn the hard way too. But my Gramma that took me in (RIP) allowed me to live with her in the suburbs 50 miles away from the neighborhood. N my Gramma in the neighborhood, put me on with all the knowledge I needed to survive. N yeah, my **** ups have all been learning experiences. I know what you mean with these kids today too, I try to make sure my nephew n little brother know that I won't hesitate to whoop some *** if I feel they ****n up. Good parenting n nurturing goes a long way. I know kuz I've experienced both ends of the spectrum.
