the thread about nothing...

how do you know if ur an introvert or an extrovert? I am shy and anxious but I like being around people and would much rather spend my time with people rather than not. I dont feel good when Im just chillin solo. I also kind of crave significance and attention. Also I do not get tired when Im hangin out with people I always like to stay late and push the chill sessions to be longer. Does shyness and anxiety(general) have anything to do with being introverted or extroverted? I was talking to someone today and they said timidness is introversion...
Timidness or shyness has nothing to do with whether you're an extrovert or not. As stated in the next page, shy extroverts exist. I think the term would be introverted extrovert...

If you feel energized after company is had or need company to feel better you're automatically an extrovert. If you are the type of person who feels better when you're alone and feel like the presence of people is draining than you're a true introvert.

True extroverts love all kinds of company. They always need some form of company and can never be alone. They need the presence of somebody else to pick up energy. These are the kind of people that's unguarded and is outgoing with everyone. They're not shy at all. They're also not picky about the company they keep at all. If you can give them attention, they'll love you. And they have a need to be liked by everyone.

A introverted extrovert pick up energy after select company, but only select company and they will find certain kind of companies draining... They are more picky about who they interact with. But it's not like they love being alone 24/7. They need a boost by being seeing certain company on a semi regular basis.

I'd say I fall in the category of introverted extrovert. I used to think, back in college and high school that I was better off being alone. But I realize now it's because I was only with the wrong people. But now that I'm alone a lot I hate it... I really hate it. I'm not thriving like this at all. I need friends in my life. Lol

To add onto extrovert vs introvert, there's this girl I have a little crush on in class. From the beginning I met her we clicked, at least as friends. For a while I wondered if she was attracted to me. After getting to know her I realized the way she is with me it's the way she is with everyone. She's a true extrovert. Also she has a boyfriend. Lol

That's like, every kid who was born in the last five years or so..

Their parents are like my age so they're documenting their kids growing up on instagram lol

How old are you? I’m talking about kids who are between the ages of 13-18 right now.

I’m washed though, so don’t mind me

Money doesn't buy everything. My 32 yr old self can afford to do things my 24 year old self could only dream of.. But I think my 24 yr old self was happier. Funny how that works.

Worked.
Paid bills at lunch.
Left a fitted at a female's place and told her I would come and pick it up after work.
Sister needed a ride home from work.
Picked her up, dropped her off.
Got home and jogged.
Said female started calling while in the shower.
Went over there.

Usually once a week is fine tho

i appreciate cars from an engineering standpoint but will never own a luxury car. They are a point A to point B device for me nothing more nothing less. Price vs reliability/cost of owndership vs gas efficiency is all i care about.

TeamOld checking in. 30 years old. Sometimes i feel like i don't remember what happy feels like. I am apathetic toward 95% of life. I did read that one in ten people struggle to recognize their emotions. So maybe that is part of it too

Yeah I experienced something similar a couple years ago. There was one girl in my class I sat behind that I became friends with real quick and she had really flirty behavior. I didn't have a crush on her, but she was pretty. She'd laugh at everything I said even when I wasn't trying to be funny. Turns out she was engaged. She brought up her fiancée to the teacher then I saw the ring on her finger

I guess my parents weren't playing when they said, "You can do whatever you want when you're done with all your schooling".
Dobby is a free elf. Sheltered child no more! :pimp:
