Well TAN i did it. Yesterday i officially paid off the last of my college debt. I will forever be a proponent of loan forgiveness and free college. In hind sight it took me 11 years really to pay off what we will call "a lot" of money. And even though i did it on my own and struggled to pull it off i still feel like the system is rigged and for-profit universities are grimy. I also regret the decision to go to an out of state private university more then any other decision i have ever made in my life. But it has taught me a lot.

I now actually feel like life can begin. Its way later then i would have liked and i am basically broke right now...but i am proud of myself. I feel like a burden has been lifted.

Anyway...hope everyone has a good weekend and prospers out there.

Congrats. In 2 years I will be at net zero also. Have you've been saving for retirement and what are your future plans now?
