Were they fresh? Sometimes the ones sitting in a display too long harden up and get a stale texture and the filling isn't warm & creamy (pause). We have a Churro chain here that makes them to order and fills the cream in front of you (pause).

Churros with Ice Cream is a whole other level tho. Ice Cream with Cookies, Brownies, Funnel Cake, etc, none of those compete with a proper Churro & Ice Cream for me. The texture and taste go perfect together.
